Flavio Hazan

Bio
Flavio Hazan has been taking part of real estate development
projects as a planner since mid 2002.
He brings his diverse design talents and abilities to the entitlement,
site planning, preconstruction and marketing stages.
His Master of Science degree in Architecture, where he specialized
in climatic design of hotels at the Technion, Israel, one of
the most internationally acclaimed research institutes, granted
him in depth knowledge in energy conservation strategies and
understanding of environmental strategies and concerns.
He has recently joined the US Green Building Council and intends
to become a LEED accredited professional by the end of summer
2008.
With about four years practice as a registered architect in
his native country, Brazil, and proficient in CADD and many
graphic design applications, Hazan has also over 15 years experience
as a advertising creative and graphic designer, proficient in
visual communication techniques.
As a designer he has been a part of several branding and advertising
services, both in Florida and Rio de Janeiro, which he left
to join NetYou Computer Communication Corporation. This Internet
systems company was conceived as a family enterprise in 1996,
and as a director of design until 2002 he was instrumental in
kiosk product development, industrial, software interface and
web site design, tradeshow and marketing materials.
Flavio’s after hour interests include alternative energies,
urban design, music, spiritual philosophies and graphical symbols.
He is married to Daise, a clinical nutritionist, and has two
step daughters.
